What is this

What is this, you ask? Well, it’s a happy little place that houses a continually egregious juxtaposition of incongruity, inconsequentiality and irrelevance. Oh, and dash of irreverence too.

So, what is this place then, you still ask? Well, it’s my mind essentially. Thoughts kneaded, squeezed and wrung into hardly palatable visuals.

Seriously, WTF is this???!!!!

Ok…ok… Here’s the deal:

I am an illustrator by birth but a graphic designer by trade. In fact, much as I love design, I must admit it has sapped the mojo right out of my ninja illo skillz! My myriad sketchbooks have been relegated to holding modular scales, golden ratio-conscious grid plans, font-size sequences in recurrence relation, collections of hexadecimal colorways for this, that or the next project….hardly any sketching anymore! *sigh!*

So, WTF this is, simply put, is:

my mid-year-ish resolution to attempt a daily sketch and a somewhat coherent accompanying thought.

The clarity of the latter will largely depend on the subject matter which, unless I were a preprogrammed robot, I wouldn’t know in advance, would I?
